Peninsular Air Transport was a supplemental carrier that provided infrequent passenger service coast to coast. Fare was $77 on way in "luxury" aircraft with standard seats and $66 in aircraft that still had the military sidewall brackets. Later service focused on Miami and St. Petersburg to the Northeast and North Central part of the United States. Passenger charter operations with significant military charters. Later on it became afiliated with South East Airlines of Charlotte, NC.
